I got all nostalgic for Elder scrolls and since the computer was non operational I decided to buy a copy of Skyrim for my Xbox One.
It was easy learning to do everything with a controller rather than a keyboard and mouse. My only issue is that during fights I keep accidentally engaging “sneak” mode which slows me down.
I need to practice a light touch rather than my button-mashing Street Fighter style. I bought Skyrim on Amazon for cheap. Got a link here for that.
I went ahead and bought a new hard drive for my computer since the last one has been destroyed. I was surprised by how small they are nowadays.
I knew the SSD was inside the computer when I first bought it but I never actually saw it until they took it out. I am really more familiar with the big heavy magnetic disk HD’s.
The Install was quick and simple though, not easy as the tiny screw was not magnetic and I kept dropping it.
I had to use tweezers to put the screw near the hole and then nudge it in before going at it with a small screw driver.
I bought a Seagate Gaming FireCuda 520 PCIe Gen4 SSD. It is 500GB which is more than enough for my needs and it is quite fast for booting and loading. Got a link here for that.
I couldn’t find my recovery disk with all the the pre-installed software and drivers for my computer and the manufacturers website didn’t have my model listed as it is sold through a 3rd party.
So I had to just do a simple Windows 10 bootable flash drive and go from there. Hunting down all the drivers has been a pain and the motherboard ASUS Q Installer keeps running at boot but never manages to download or install itself.
I’ve got lot’s to type up for my new business “Bliss in Bloom: Influencers, LLC” and my notes on the Neo Atheist League (NAL).
I have letters to write to potential models and employees, some work to do here on the blog and lastly I am going for an online degree in Business Administration.
