So I ended up buying a DJI Mini 2. I only got the drone and I wish now that I had shelled out the extra cash for the Combo pack. I also found out that all the SD cards I have laying around the house are outdated and incompatible. I used the MyPoints portal to go to Amazon and I bought this new memory card.
That should do for now. I may need to get a bigger one once I start doing videos for YouTube. I think for now I will just operate recreationally for my own pleasure until I am confident I won’t crash and burn. The licensing requirements for drone operation only reference videos directly or indirectly used for profit. I think private home videos are acceptable as long as I don’t upload them I should be fine.
I will eventually go and get the exam done, but I am really bad a tests. It’s been way too long since I was in school. I’m not sure If I’ll understand most of it even with the guides. I’ve got a ton of bookmarks now with all the related content, it’s crazy.
